Merry Christmas!!

Well sorry to anyone who has been waiting for some new pics. We have been a little busy with a couple new babies. Kelli and I are trying to sleep every chance we can but it is tough to get into a new routine and sleep when the baby is sleeping. We are really excited to be able to have Lucy and Madeline home for Christmas and spend some quality time with them around them. Last night we read the story of Jesus birth to them and it was pretty fun to read and look at them and how precious they are and think how we have them to nurture and care for.

When we went home on Saturday evening from the hospital it was pretty crazy to see them so small in their car seats. Now on to their weights...... Lucy is a chunk and is gaining weight at a rapid pace. She has gained almost a whole pound from her lowest weight in the hospital and is still eating like it is her last meal. Lucy was 5 lbs 7.5 ounces as of yesterday.

Madeline is also gaining weight and is doing better on her feedings as well. She weighed in a 4 lbs 8 ounces yesterday.

Monday they had their first pediatrician appointment and everything seemed to check out pretty well. We like their doctor as well. His name is Dr. Filuk. He came to see us in the hospital when Kelli was at St. Joes and he got them in as his patients.
The girls has their first Christmas with the Potts side last night and with the Stephan's this morning. They are also going to be at the famous Christmas Stephan/Day dinner. Every year the family writes on a table clothe and then Grandma Day sews it into the table cloth. What you write usually relates to what happened this last year (I wonder what we are going to write???).

Hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and are staying warm and safe on the roads. God bless you all and Lucy and Madeline can't wait to meet you once they (and their parents) get more strength.
