Hello World!

They're here!!!! Well just when Kelli and I thought we were possibly going to try to go to St Joe's early Kelli got some contractions last night when the babies' hearts were being monitored and then decided against the early leave. Kelli slept fine last night but at about 6:30am she began to feel contractions that were different and hurting more. At just before noon Lucy and Madeline came and showed themselves to the world!

Lucile Ann was 4 lbs 14 ounces and Madeline Grayce was 4 lbs 6 ounces. Madeline is doing great and Lucile is having a little trouble breathing so she is hooked up to a breathing machine for a day or so but everything seems to be OK and working out fine (there is a picture).

Kelli got to see the babies briefly as she was going from C section recovery back to our room but she did not get to spend too much time with them. The hope is that tomorrow she will have recovered enough to get some good time in with the babies. They are so beautiful and we love them so much (like we wouldn't say that).

In the first picture Madeline is on the left (A) and Lucy is on the right (B). They say hello to all of you.

We are excited to bring them home but we may be here a couple weeks as they are still pretty young. Kelli was 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant today. Snowing on our wedding and now snowing when our babies are born. Hmmmmm

I don't know how to arrange pictures yet.
